Simchat Torah marks the completion of the annual Torah reading cycle and the beginning of a new cycle. We celebrate by holding up the Torah scrolls and dancing around the bimah seven times (hakafot). You’re invited to join New Synagogue young families to celebrate Simchat Torah as a community.
