On Tisha B’av we gather together to mourn the destruction of our Temples in Jerusalem, thousands of years of Jewish persecution including pogroms, the Holocaust, the October 7th massacre, and all other suffering that befalls our nation.
We feel the pain of exile and express our hope in redemption.Being part of a community and part of the Jewish People means gathering together not only to celebrate joyous holidays, but also to commemorate our national tragedies.
Our sages teach us that “Whoever mourns for Jerusalem will merit seeing its joy.” We encourage everyone to register and attend Erev Tisha B’av services, which will be led by Rabbi Eliezer Rubin. The Tisha B’Av schedule is below.
